Went Tiong Bahru market with my brother today to have lunch, I had my favourite mix pig's organs soup and a nice cup of sugarcane juice, yum!
After lunch, we walked to Tiong Bahru Plaza. Felt a great sense of nostalgia while walking thru the old houses, nice!

Oh man, it was scorching hot today and my skin was burning just by walking under the hot sun for 20 mins!!! Is it me or is the weather getting worser by the day!? We couldn't take it and went to MOS burger to have my favourite ice milk tea...oooo...tasted soooo nice after being in the super hot sun!
While on the subject of the sun, I watched a very interesting documentary on it yesterday on discovery channel. The scientists guessed the age of the sun by using the sun dial which dictates the birth of the sun at 6am and its death at 6pm. If they were to guess the age of the sun now, it's at 10+am, which means once it reaches 6pm, the sun will die and cease its function of providing energy to power the earth, in other words, earth will die. It'll take billion of years for it to reach 6pm so...phew!
It also explained how the sun is formed, its components, very scientific but interesting and how eruptions are happening on the sun and the disastrous effects it'll have on earth. The sun is growing in diameter and once it's near to earth, the tremendous heat will dry up the water, cause the plants and vegetations to die, resulting in the cessation of oxygen provision which we need to survive and you guessed it, humans will no longer be able to survive on earth! Scientists believed that soon, the earth will be too hot for humans to come out during the daytime and we'll be forced to live underground and only be able to come out at night. This is the extreme which I believe will happen eventually, I just hope not near enough for me to see it! Scary all these the global warming articles and shows!
Wat can I say, love the earth before it dies on us...food for thought...
On a brighter note, we met up with our parents at Tiong Bahru Plaza (they went to my auntie's place) and went Vivocity. Oh boy, it sure is crowded! But yay! the Great Singapore Sale has started! woohoooo! Shopping time!
