♥ travelling...my all time favourite country would be Japan. I do like Phuket for pure R&R and would like to go Europe soon, especially Paris!

♥ simple pleasures...a smile or a sms from the people I love, a simple hello in the morning, a nice cup of coffee in the morning, small little things that seem insignificant are always the things that make you happy.
♥ food...good food makes me happy and it doesn't necessarily have to be expensive.
♥ desserts & chocolates...who can resist!

Oh boy, it's been awhile since I last wrote an entry. So many things have happened within the 2 1/2 weeks!
My R&R days are over, I can't believe it! But it's freedom lost in a good way. I'm in my second week of my new job and it's getting more and more exciting by the day. I've met lots of people, allowing me to widen my contacts. I also get to preview movies way before it hits the cinemas, what's there not to love!

In my 2 short weeks, I've attended press con, food tasting, meetings and previewed movies (there's more to come! heh), time really flies!
Previewed SICKO and THE BRAVE ONE:
Try to catch this movie if you can. I personally liked it! Typical Michael Moore film, the movie (done in documentary style) gives you an interesting insight to the less than desirable (in fact, revolting!) healthcare insurance system in America! My rating:
The Brave One starring Jodie Foster is a very intense and emotion filled movie. Jodie's such a great actress - she makes you feel the pain, hurt and anger of the character she portrays. Although predictable, it's worth a watch! My rating:
Mom bought my favorite snowskin mooncake yesterday! She loves the mooncakes from 大中国, a traditional pastry shop in Chinatown. I love the traditional paperbag that the mooncakes come in, it's so nostalgic, I love it when 老品牌 keeps their tradition throughout the years. There are some things that simply shouldn't be changed. I can totally understand the need for them to move with the times but turning an old brand too modern just loses its touch, a good example I feel is Eu Yan Seng which modernized itself too fast it loses its charm of an old brand name.
